No the camel ride is not necessary, it’s an extra cost which youths could do if they want. Even though we offer it as a preferred activity we can arrange for other forms of transport if that’s your wish. Also if you have movement limitations they will organize a 4 by 4 car to transfer you directly to the desert camp for the convenience of the tour.

As for what you should take with you some necessary things are footwear for long walks around the Island, sunblock lotions, and lightweight, bright-colored summer clothing for the daytime. It is normally sunny in the desert which makes one get hot, thus it is advisable to pack a warm jacket or sweater for night use. Besides, one should pack a hat and sun glasses and a flip flop with a refillable water bottle in case the day turns out to be sunny and hot.
