Best Desert Trip we could imagine
We‘re a group of 4 (from Switzerland and Cuba) and did a 3 days 2 nights Desert Tour from Ouarzazate to the Dades Valley, Erg Chebbi, Draa Valley and back to Ouarzazate. Zaid – the owner of Seekers Travel – organized everything perfectly: the transport, the guides, the tours, the photo-spots and coffee-stops. Also, he could answer all of our questions regarding Moroccon history, culture, language – and we had many of them! Zaid is not only very professional, respectful and trust-worthy, he also had a great understanding for our group and always sensed and anticipated our needs. This allowed us to lean back and just soak in everything. Also, he was a very good and very safe driver, which was very important for us. Viaggio di coppia di 10 giorni attraversando il Marocco. Siamo davvero felici di aver scelto questo viaggio. È stata un’esperienza bellissima, piena di luoghi incredibili, paesaggi spettacolari e momenti che porteremo con noi. Tutto organizzato alla perfezione da Zaid, che si è occupato subito dell’itinerario in base alle nostre esigenze. Ci sono state tantissime esperienze che ci rimarranno sempre nel cuore come il giro in mongolfiera all’alba, l’escursione nel deserto sul dromedario, le guide di Marrakech e Fes (entrambe parlano fluentemente italiano) che ci hanno fatto scoprire gli angoli più nascosti di queste bellissime città e tanto altro ancora. Un grazie in particolare a LE CHEF Ibrahim, il nostro autista personale per 10 giorni che ci ha accompagnato in questa bellissima avventura come se fossimo tutti una famiglia. È stato disponibilissimo e gentile fin da subito e non ci ha mai fatto sentire la nostalgia di casa. Nel nostro percorso ci spiegava anche alcune particolarità del territorio in base a dove eravamo in quel momento. Voyage de ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ pour mon ami Ibrahim! Esperienza nel deserto di Zagora
Siamo una coppia giovane di ragazzi italiani e abbiamo trascorso una notte nel deserto di Zagora, accompagnati dalla nostra guida Zaid, che ci ha seguito per tutta la durata del viaggio. È stata un’esperienza davvero bellissima. Zaid è stato professionale, disponibile e sempre molto gentile. Ci ha accompagnato con la sua auto, climatizzata, spaziosa e comodissima, e durante il percorso ci ha portato a vedere tantissimi luoghi e panorami meravigliosi, anche in posti meno turistici e più nascosti. Viaggiare in macchina con una guida del posto ci ha permesso di vedere un Marocco più autentico e di vivere il viaggio in modo molto più completo. Durante gli spostamenti Zaid si è sempre dimostrato attento alle nostre esigenze, offrendoci acqua, caffè e tutto ciò di cui potevamo avere bisogno durante le varie soste. La notte nel deserto è stata semplicemente magica: il cielo pieno di stelle, il fuoco, la musica e l’atmosfera ci hanno regalato un’esperienza che ricorderemo a lungo. Wonderful time in Morocco with Zaid/ Seekers Travel
We enjoyed our trip to Morocco, in part thanks to Zaid/ Seekers Travel. The tour guides were professional and shared various information about Morocco, and the riads/ hotels that Zaid picked were great. Marrakech, Fes, Tangier, Casablanca, Chefchaouen, and a slight detour to Rabat were all part of our itinerary. Getting around was a breeze with our assigned driver, Ahmed (if he's available, ask for him). He was courteous, flexible, very professional, and even shared some tidbits about Morocco. A must-do Moroccan experience.
We had an extraordinary 9 day travel with Seekers Travel, a circuit from Casablanca, Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains, the Dades Valley, gorge, the Desert, Fes, and Chefchaouen. The topography was varied and so were the cities. We traveled by car with Zaid, our driver and our guide, a man with years of experience. I can't imagine these travels without a guide and can't imagine long hours each day in the company of a fellow any more delightful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Every booking, transfer, timed pick-up was precise. (Watch out for his quiet humor!) We did the upgrade for accommodations, Zaid booked us into Riads in city centers and these were so well chosen, traditional. exquisite and with fabulous service. There was one small glitch at the accommodation in Fes. The actual room we were booked into was up 4 flights of narrow, spiral stairs (no handrails to a suite that involved another flight) which was not possible for my husband, (77 years and 2 knee replacements). The staff quickly adjusted and provided a main floor room for an extra fee. Partly our ignorance... traditional Riads would not be fitted with elevators or today's stairwell standards. Two final points... Zaid speaks many languages. His English is impeccable and with that, we could communicate at a high vocabulary standard, understand cultural explanations deeper. I had a wonderful Trip to Morocco w Travel Seekers ! Surely it was a no brainer to travel w Zaid again . A very careful driver and I feel very safe with him . He is so amazing , full of knowledge abt Morocco esp the dessert ! Everytime I think of Morocco I think of Zaid . It's like having a close relative over there ! He also arranged golf games for us without any problem . He was always accessible by what's app when we needed him . Siamo tornati da 7 giorni incredibili in Marocco e siamo ancora senza parole – è stata davvero una vacanza da sogno! Ogni singolo momento è stato indimenticabile, e tutta l’esperienza è stata perfetta grazie alla nostra straordinaria guida, Said. Non si è limitato a organizzare il viaggio – lo ha trasformato in qualcosa di veramente magico. Dal momento in cui ci ha accolti all’aeroporto fino all’ultimo giorno, Said si è occupato di assolutamente tutto: trasferimenti, sistemazioni, tempi, comfort… non abbiamo dovuto preoccuparci di nulla. Abbiamo solo goduto appieno di ogni attimo del viaggio. I riad in cui abbiamo soggiornato erano mozzafiato – affascinanti, eleganti e pieni della vera bellezza marocchina. E l’itinerario? Semplicemente perfetto. Abbiamo esplorato città vivaci, deserti, mercati, paesaggi incredibili… ogni giorno sembrava una nuova cartolina. Un episodio che ci ha davvero colpito è stato quando abbiamo perso i passaporti con dei soldi. Il giorno successivo, grazie a Said, siamo riusciti a recuperarli senza alcun problema. La sua prontezza, calma e conoscenza delle procedure ci hanno permesso di superare una situazione che poteva diventare un disastro, dimostrando quanto sia affidabile e competente. Ma ciò che ha reso questo viaggio davvero indimenticabile è stato Said. Così gentile, educato, attento e sempre un passo avanti rispetto a ogni nostra esigenza. Non è stato solo una guida – ci ha coccolati. Ci ha fatto sentire al sicuro, speciali e veramente curati, trasformando una vacanza in un’esperienza del cuore. Non possiamo ringraziarlo abbastanza – è grazie a lui se questo viaggio è stato straordinario. Every single moment was unforgettable, and the entire experience was flawless thanks to our amazing guide, Said. He didn’t just organize our trip – he turned it into something truly magical. From the moment he welcomed us at the airport to the very last day, Said took care of absolutely everything: transfers, accommodations, schedule, comfort… we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. We just enjoyed every moment to the fullest. The riads we stayed in were breathtaking – charming, elegant, and full of authentic Moroccan beauty. And the itinerary? Simply perfect. We explored vibrant cities, deserts, markets, incredible landscapes… every day felt like a new postcard. One moment that really showed Said’s dedication was when we lost our passports along with some money. The very next day, thanks to Said, we were able to recover everything without any problems. No one more trustworthy than Zaid
This is our second 2-week customized private tour of Morocco arranged and led by Zaid. Zaid is our trusted driver, guide and Friend. I recall our first trip - 2 ladies in a “Muslim” country- feeling abit anxious.. not sure if the driver will turn up at the airport. Zaid did. He was so caring and looked after us well especially my friend who had sinusitis and cough. We had a great time doing the loop through Casablanca, FES, the desert, Marrakech, Atlas Mtns, Essaouira. Zaid’s biggest strength is his knowledge of the desert. This trip we did a chill trip (Chefchaouen, Tangier and golfing) but on hindsight we should have done a desert tour with him. Next time… Besides being genuinely kind and patient (he never says NO to any requests!) he is a wealth of knowledge, especially alternative traditional medicine and Berber history. He teaches us how to cook Berber food (tajines, cous cous), use of herbs as medicine, and even helps us buy the real saffron, argan oil, rose oil (he and his guides won’t push you to buy “less genuine” stuff from the Zouks just to get comms). He even knows a lot about Henna art and He taught us how to find our way if lost in the desert! Go with Zaid and his guides- you are in very safe hands. Do the luxury desert camp (it’s worth the extra $). You get your own bathroom, and you are in the huge desert with just a couple of other people. Amazing experience. With Zaid, Morocco has become not just another travel destination, we feel more connected to the culture, and the people of the country.
