Itinerary:

Day 1: Fes – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Your journey starts early in the morning from Fes, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. The road takes you through beautiful landscapes, with an optional stop in Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou to see the Barbary macaque monkeys. You continue to Midelt, where you stop for lunch between the mountains. In the afternoon, the drive continues through the impressive Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and panoramic viewpoints. By late afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here you switch to camels and ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach your desert camp, where you enjoy dinner, traditional Berber music, and a magical night under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert Area Exploration

After watching the sunrise over the dunes, you enjoy breakfast at the camp or hotel. The day is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga desert region. You visit Khamlia village, famous for its Gnawa music, and meet local nomadic families to learn about their traditional lifestyle. The adventure continues with a 4×4 excursion across the desert, discovering oases, fossil areas, and the black desert landscapes around Erg Chebbi. You have free time to walk inside the gorge and take photos. Day 4: Imilchil – Middle Atlas – Fes

On the final day, you enjoy breakfast in the calm atmosphere of Imilchil before starting your journey back to Fes.
