Itinerary:

DAY 1

Arrival in Casablanca

Your 9-day Morocco tour from Casablanca begins with a private pickup from the airport, port, or your hotel. Explore Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital, starting with the impressive Hassan II Mosque overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy free time for lunch before visiting the Corniche, Mohammed V Square, and Rick’s Café. Depending on your arrival time, some visits may be moved to the following morning. Overnight in Casablanca.

DAY 2

Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

After breakfast, travel to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and one of its imperial cities. Visit the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, continue north through the countryside towards Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City nestled in the Rif Mountains. Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy free time to explore its blue-painted streets and charming Medina. Overnight in a traditional riad.

DAY 3

Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

After breakfast, enjoy a final walk through Chefchaouen before heading south to Volubilis. Explore the ancient Roman ruins and their impressive mosaics at this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where you will visit Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later, continue to Fes for an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

DAY 4

Guided Sightseeing Tour of Fes

Today, discover Fes with a local guide. Visit the Royal Palace gates before exploring the UNESCO-listed Medina through Bab Boujloud, the famous Blue Gate. Walk through the narrow streets and souks while discovering the Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, traditional tanneries, and Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University. Continue to the Mellah and a panoramic viewpoint before returning to your riad for a relaxing evening.

DAY 5

Fes - Ifrane - Cedars Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga

After breakfast, travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards the Sahara. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” then visit the Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques. Continue to Midelt for lunch before driving through the scenic Ziz Valley and its palm-filled oasis. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga and begin your camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset before reaching your desert camp for dinner, Berber music, and an overnight stay under the stars.

DAY 6

Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

Wake early to enjoy the spectacular Sahara sunrise before returning to Merzouga by camel. Continue to Rissani, a historic trading town famous for its traditional souk, then visit a fossil workshop in Erfoud. Drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad towards the impressive Todra Gorges. Enjoy a walk between the towering cliffs before continuing to the Dades Valley. Stop at the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations before your overnight stay.

DAY 7

Dades Valley - Rose Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast, travel through the beautiful Rose Valley and the palm groves of Skoura. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” where you can visit the Atlas Film Studios. Next, explore Ait Ben Haddou, the famous UNESCO-listed ksar and filming location for several international productions. Finally, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech in the evening. Overnight in a traditional riad.

DAY 8

Guided Sightseeing Tour of Marrakech

Spend the day exploring Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Ben Youssef Madrasa before exploring the colorful souks of the Medina. Enjoy free time for lunch around Jemaa el-Fna Square. In the afternoon, visit the Koutoubia Mosque and the beautiful Majorelle Garden. Later, enjoy some free time to shop or explore Marrakech at your own pace. Overnight in your riad.

DAY 9

Marrakech - Casablanca

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Casablanca. Depending on your flight time, enjoy some free time in Marrakech or make stops along the way. Finally, your private driver will transfer you to Casablanca airport for your departure, marking the end of your 9-day Morocco tour from Casablanca.
