Itinerary:

DAY 1

Arrival in Tangier – Chefchaouen

Meet your driver at your hotel, airport, or port in Tangier. Visit Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel. Enjoy lunch before driving through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. Arrive in Chefchaouen and spend the night in the blue city.

DAY 2

Sightseeing in Chefchaouen

Explore the blue streets of Chefchaouen and visit Outa El Hammam Square and the Kasbah. Enjoy free time for shopping and photos. In the afternoon, hike to the Spanish Mosque for beautiful views over the city.

DAY 3

Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Meknes and explore its historic gates, Royal Stables, and Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Travel to Fes for your overnight stay.

DAY 4

DAY 6

Explore Merzouga Region

Explore the Merzouga region by 4x4. Visit an old kohl mine and meet a nomad family in their traditional tents. Continue to Khamlia village to enjoy Gnaoua music. Visit the palm groves and seasonal Merzouga Lake before returning to your accommodation.

DAY 7

Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake up early for a spectacular Sahara sunrise. Visit Rissani souk and continue to Erfoud, famous for fossils and marble workshops. Drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad before reaching Todra Gorges. Continue to the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 8

Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Drive through the Rose Valley and visit Skoura’s historic Amridil Kasbah. Continue to Ouarzazate and visit Taourirt Kasbah or the film studios. Explore Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech.

Marrakech airport transfer
