If on foot, be sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking and carry a hat and some sunscreen because there is usually a lot of sun especially when traveling to northern Europe. may need a jacket as it gets a bit chilly in the morning and in the evening.

If we get an opportunity, we should definitely take a one-and- half to two hours’ drive from Ouarzazate to Ait Benhaddou. The drive to the place passes through the valley and so it is rather cheerful.

We recommend to do this day trip in spring which is March, April and May or early autumn, September, October and November. Summer and it can be very hot particularly in the desert areas and on the other hand winter it can be very cold in the mountains.
