Itinerary:
Arrival in Tangier – Chefchaouen
Meet your driver at your hotel, airport, or port in Tangier. Visit Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. Then explore Hercules Cave and enjoy free time for lunch. In the afternoon, travel through the scenic Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views before arriving in the famous Blue City. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, explore the blue streets of Chefchaouen. Then travel to Volubilis and discover its impressive Roman ruins and ancient mosaics. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Visit Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, Sahrij Souani, and other historic sites. In the evening, continue to Fes for your overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Spend the day exploring Fes, one of Morocco’s most historic cities. Visit the Royal Palace gates and enter the famous Fes Medina through Bab Boujloud. Explore Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, the traditional tanneries, and Al Quaraouiyine University. Continue to the Mellah and enjoy a panoramic view of the city before returning to your riad.
Fes – Ifrane – Cedars Forest – Merzouga Sahara
Travel south to Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Continue through the cedar forest, where you may see Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, cross the Tizi n’Talghamt Pass and enjoy views of the Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga and begin your camel ride across the golden Sahara dunes. Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up early for the spectacular Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, visit Rissani and its traditional souk. Continue to Erfoud, famous for fossils and fossilized marble. Next, explore the impressive Todra Gorges and enjoy a walk between its towering cliffs. Continue through the Dades Valley and stop to admire the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations. Overnight in the Dades Valley.
Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Travel through Rose Valley and the palm groves of Skoura. Visit the historic Amridil Kasbah before continuing to Ouarzazate. Explore the famous film studios and continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs. Morocco is best visited in spring and autumn and it means that the period from March through May and from September through November is perfect for touring. Namely, since April up to the end of September it is neither too hot nor too cold that makes it perfect for taking excursions. The needs of the tour are, however, year-round which means that one can select a time of his or her most convenience.

We suggest you take casual clothes and shoes for a city as well as for a desert area. Make sure to wear sunglasses and a hat and to bring sunscreen if you are going to be in the sun. A lightweight coat may also be desirable the evenings when riding a car through deserts. As for them, please, do not forget your camera to make the beautiful landscapes and historical places!
