Itinerary:

DAY 1

Fes – Ifrane – Cedars Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Your 2-day Fes desert tour starts with an early morning pickup from your hotel or the airport. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with stops in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques. Continue to Midelt for lunch before driving through the spectacular Ziz Valley and its palm groves. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga and begin a camel ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch the sunset from the dunes before reaching your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional dinner, Berber music, and a magical night under the stars in the Sahara Desert.

DAY 2

Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Wake up early to enjoy the beautiful Sahara Desert sunrise, then return to Merzouga by camel. Continue west through the palm oases of Touroug and Tinjdad before reaching the spectacular Todra Gorges. Take a short walk through the canyon and admire its towering red cliffs. Continue to Ouarzazate and visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous filming location. Finally, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass and arrive in Marrakech in the evening, ending your Fes to Marrakech desert tour.
