Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Your Marrakech to Fes 3-day desert tour begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech or from the airport. You will travel through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains and cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, where you can stop to enjoy panoramic views and take memorable photos.

Next, visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs and a filming location for movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy. After exploring the kasbah, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” where you will have free time for lunch.

Afterwards, drive along the beautiful Ziz Valley, stopping for lunch in Midelt. Continue your journey through the cedar forests, home to the Barbary macaques, before reaching Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture and cool climate.
