Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate
Start your 5-day Morocco desert tour from Marrakech with a morning pickup from your hotel or riad. Drive through the High Atlas Mountains and cross the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Enjoy several photo stops along the way. Continue to Telouet Kasbah, a historic fortress in the Atlas Mountains. Then visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its traditional clay buildings and film locations. After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Visit Taourirt Kasbah before dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.
Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley
After breakfast, explore Ouarzazate with a visit to Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Then drive through the palm groves of Skoura and visit the historic Amridil Kasbah. Continue through the Rose Valley, famous for its rose products and annual Rose Festival.
