Your Palmeraie camel ride begins with pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. After a short drive, arrive at the camel riding center, where your guide will welcome you and introduce you to the camels. After a short safety briefing, climb onto your camel and begin your ride through the Palmeraie of Marrakech. Travel among the palm trees and enjoy the peaceful desert-like landscape surrounding the city. Your guide will share interesting stories about the area, local traditions, and Moroccan culture. After the camel ride, return to the starting point and enjoy a traditional Moroccan mint tea with local snacks. Take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Since there are exercises involved it is ideal to dress in free and loose fitting clothing. Furthermore, we encourage any weather-appropriate lightweight and breathable fabrics, more especially during summer. Comparable to the hat, we recommend to wear stable footwear as one is constantly in movement a little bit, during mounting and dismounting from the Camel. There are other precaution measures such as putting on a hat, a pair of sunglass to avoid direct sun effects.
