Itinerary:

DAY 1

Arrival in Casablanca

Your 11-day Morocco tour from Casablanca begins with a pickup from the airport, port, or your hotel. Start by visiting the impressive Hassan II Mosque, located beside the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before exploring the Corniche, Mohamed V Square, and the city center. If time allows, you can also visit Rick’s Café. Overnight in Casablanca.

DAY 2

Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

After breakfast, travel to Rabat, Morocco’s capital and one of its imperial cities. Visit Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the beautiful Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, continue north through the Moroccan countryside towards Chefchaouen. Arrive in the famous Blue City in the afternoon and enjoy some free time exploring its charming streets. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

DAY 3

Chefchaoune - Meknes- Fes

After breakfast, enjoy a final walk through Chefchaouen’s blue-painted Medina before heading south. Visit Volubilis, the ancient Roman ruins and UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its impressive mosaics and historic remains. Continue to Meknes, another imperial city, where you will discover Bab Mansour, the Royal Stables, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Later, continue to Fes for an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

DAY 4

Guided Sightseeing Tour of Fes

Today is dedicated to discovering Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital. With a local guide, explore the historic Medina and its maze of narrow streets and traditional souks. Visit the Royal Palace gates, Bab Boujloud, Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and the famous tanneries. Continue to Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University before exploring the Mellah and enjoying panoramic views of the city. Overnight in Fes.

DAY 5

Fes - Ifrane - Cedars Forest - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga

After breakfast, travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains towards Merzouga. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before visiting the Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques. Continue to Midelt for lunch, then drive through the scenic Ziz Valley and its palm-filled oasis. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga and begin your camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset before reaching your desert camp for dinner, Berber music, and an overnight stay under the stars.

DAY 6

Explore Merzouga Region

Wake early to enjoy the spectacular Sahara sunrise before returning to Merzouga for breakfast. Spend the day exploring the desert region by 4x4. Visit a traditional nomad family and learn about their way of life. Continue to Khamlia village to experience Gnaoua music and local culture. After lunch, explore the palm groves and visit the seasonal Merzouga Lake, also known as Flamingo Lake. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Merzouga.

DAY 7

Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

After breakfast, leave Merzouga and travel to Rissani, a historic trading town famous for its traditional souk. Continue to Erfoud, known for its fossils and marble workshops. Drive through the palm groves of the Tafilalet region before reaching the spectacular Todra Gorges. Enjoy a walk between the towering red cliffs before continuing to the Dades Valley. Stop at the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations and panoramic viewpoints. Overnight in the Dades Valley.

DAY 8

Dades Valley - Rose Valley - Skoura - Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, continue through the beautiful Rose Valley and the palm groves of Skoura. Visit the historic Amridil Kasbah before continuing to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” From there, visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a popular filming location. Finally, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and arrive in Marrakech in the evening. Overnight in a traditional riad.

DAY 9

Guided Tour of Marrakech

Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Marrakech, the famous Red City. Visit the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Mosque, and the historic Medina. Explore the colorful souks, filled with traditional crafts, spices, and local products. After lunch, visit the beautiful Majorelle Garden before enjoying free time around Jemaa el-Fna Square. Return to your riad for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.

DAY 10

Marrakech – Essaouira Day Trip – Marrakech

After breakfast, leave Marrakech for a full-day trip to Essaouira, the charming coastal city on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Along the way, stop to see the famous goats climbing argan trees, when available. In Essaouira, explore the historic Medina, old ramparts, fishing harbor, and colorful streets. Enjoy fresh seafood and free time to relax by the ocean. In the afternoon, return to Marrakech for your final overnight stay in a riad.

DAY 11

Marrakech – Airport Transfer

After breakfast, enjoy some free time in Marrakech for last-minute shopping or a relaxing walk, depending on your flight schedule. At the appropriate time, your driver will pick you up from your riad or hotel and transfer you to Marrakech Menara Airport. Your 11-day Morocco tour from Casablanca ends with your departure from Marrakech.

Keeping flash light or head light during night may be useful during the activities at the night time. This filming kit should not be forgotten; sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat to protect against the sun. Also, it is recommended to carry a small back pack for the daily uses essentials and a cameral for spectacular sight seeing of the desert.
