8:00 AM – Departure from Fes :Your private driver will meet you at the agreed location in Fes. Then, you will start your drive to Bhalil. The day trip from Fes to Sefrou and Bhalil takes roughly 30 minutes. As you leave Fes, you’ll get to enjoy more of the picturesque Moroccan landscape. Bhalil is located in the Moulouya Valley, branching off from the Middle Atlas Mountains. This makes for a peaceful, quiet ride.

8:30 AM – Arrival in Bhalil: Bhalil is an unimpressive village but is interesting well known for its troglodyte architecture. Such homes are usually crafted from stones and hanged on the mountains, and several of them are inhabited to date. This is an opportunity for a walking tour round the village guided by your local guide and meet the friendly villagers as you will walk round the village along the narrow roads. The wander in Bhalil is not very elaborate and in this derelict town, narrow alleys and houses built in the Moroccan rural architectural style can be seen.

9:8-30 AM – Visit to Troglodyte Homes.: But the most interesting feature of Bhalil is its troglodyte housing. Originally, these homes are the crafts of rocks on ground some several centuries ago meaning that the homes were naturally air conditioned and fortified. During the journey, you will see the gigantic Rif Mountains and green valleys. Sefrou is nicknamed the “City of Cherries” and is known for its exquisite fruit gardens. This is especially noticeable in the summer months.

12:00 PM – Arrival in Sefrou: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your local guide, who will introduce you to the city’s history. Sefrou has a rich past, dating back to Roman times. The town has a diverse cultural mix, including a notable Jewish heritage. The medina is one of its most charming features, with narrow winding streets, old buildings, and vibrant souks selling local crafts.

12:8:30 PM – Tour Sefrou Medina: Sefrou’s Medina is less touristic, more laid back and as we saw more genuine compared to Fes’ Medina. You will again be lost in a maze of narrow streets in the middle of Moroccan architecture, typical fountains of that period, and local shops. The medina now is also a place of numerous historical attractions such as old mosques, the former Jewish neighborhood Mellah, and parts of Sefrou as a trading city. You will have idle moments so one can walk around absorbing the environment.

1:30 PM – 45 PM – Lunch at a Local Restaurant: You will have lunch at a restaurants that is traditional Moroccan style restaurant at Sefrou and you will be able to taste tagine, couscous or the freshly made Moroccan bread. From the restaurant’s setting, you will be able to eat comfortably and savor the Morocco cuisine excellently. Guide will also recommend the best meal you should take in relation to the local dietary provisions.

3:00 PM – Explore Sefrou water and the natural environment.: Then, over the lunch hour, you will visit the Sefrou Waterfalls that is a natural site wich is in a village outside Sefrou.
