In the morning of the third day of this 10 days tour from Tangier after the breakfast we will spend some time sightseeing in Chefchaouen before continuing to the ruins of Volubilis. This Unesco World Heritage site is great to visit because of its marvellous collection of mosaics and fascinating architecture. Following our tour through Volubilis, we transfer another 30 kilometres to Meknes, another of Morocco’s imperial cities. It’s recommended to have breakfast before proceeding to take a tour around Fes which is Morocco’s cultural city. Begin with the entrance to the Royal Palace; then go to the delightful medieval Medina that is in an excellent state of preservation and is the site of a UNESCO World Heritage Centre. You will find landmarks like Medrasa Bouanania and Najjarine Fountain when entering through the Blue Gate or Bab Boujloud.
